a political scientist who specializes in the fields of international politics, comparative politics and Southeast Asian affairs. He is a professor in the Graduate Schools for Law and Politics, The University of Tokyo. He is also the author of several books including “Remembering the War” (2001), “War Unleashed” (2007), etc.).

Professor Fukumoto
Political scientist who specializes in the field of political methodology (the field of developing statistical methods according to political phenomena) He is a professor in the Department of Political Science, Faculty of Law, Gakushuin University. Among his most famous works are “Politics in the Japanese Diet – A Statistical Analysis of Postwar Government Legislation” (2000), “System and Process of Legislation” (2007))
