Hello, ya new Masr!! This is Koji from the Japan Foundation.

I am happy to know that step by step Egypt is moving forward to the better future. The Japan Foundation’s activities have also started to be normal. This week, we have done Ikebana and Igo lessons and we celebrated our reunion after quite a long time since the start of the revolution.

Although we had to cancel some of the events, we are trying to realize as many of our planned projects as possible. One of which will be the participation of the Cairo Jazz Festival. I hope that I will be able to make official announcement soon.
Before that, there will be another Japanese cultural event organized by the group from Japan.  228 works of Japanese paintings, western-style paintings, sculpture crafts, Potteries, Photography and Calligraphy will be exhibited at the Palace of Arts, Cairo Opera Grounds from March 5th to 7th.

Although they are not the professionals, they would like to show their good art works to exchange with Egyptian friends. Unfortunately their tour to Cairo had to be canceled and that is why only their works will be introduced to you this time.

If you have time, please come and enjoy the festival.
